    Project Manager IT (sector seguros o banca)
Our client is a multinational software company with offices in Germany, France, Japan and Spain (Valencia, Barcelona and Madrid). They develop technological products specialized in the financial and insurance sectors.
We are looking for a Project Managert to join the Consulting team in the Barcelona or Valencia office.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Lead IT implementation or consulting projects for insurance, adding value through the combination of consulting tools with project management skills and deep knowledge of insurance business processes and models.
 - Oversee projects from initiation to successful formal closure, while managing schedules, scope, budget, risks, and dependencies.
 - Supervise and support business analysis and solution design, facilitating client workshops and driving communication as required by the project.
 - Act as a team leader for small, agile, and cross-functional delivery teams, supporting the growth of junior team members.
 - Build relationships with key client stakeholders based on substantial industry knowledge and be recognized as a trusted advisor.
 - Lead or support B2B business development efforts, including cross-selling and upselling of our services.
 - Coordinate the preparation and presentation of proposals for client decision-makers.
 - Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, even in difficult or high-pressure situations, managing their expectations and needs.
 
What do we expect from you?
- At least 7 years of professional experience in IT projects for Insurance, preferably in P&C lines.
 - Comprehensive understanding of how insurance companies operate, with in-depth knowledge of core business processes.
 - Experience in functional design and IT solution implementation in a role as PM, Team Lead, and/or Lead BA.
 - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, negotiate, and defend the company’s interests.
 - Proven ability to explain and apply a delivery methodology to project teams, planning, and client control in order to establish proper management and risk control.
 - Demonstrated ability to build a high-performing joint team, resolve personal and team issues with limited support, and act as a role model for younger colleagues.
 - Strong analytical and synthesis skills to ensure the quality of team deliverables.
 - Creativity, resourcefulness, and proactivity in solving complex problems, applying principles of economy of effort to ensure successful delivery.
 - Ability to work in Spain and the European Union full-time.
 - Strong command of Spanish and English, at least C1 level.
 - Willing to travel to the client’s site (Madrid) for up to 50% of working time (All transportation, accommodation, and meal expenses are covered by the company)
